NBA rotations, injuries and fantasy opportunities

An injury headline is a starting point, not the whole fantasy answer. Check the rotation, the available teammates and whether an opening looks temporary or longer term.

Open NBA Rotations

NBA Rotations and NBA Updates are independent tools with a free DeepVision account. No Yahoo connection is required. Breakout Watch uses your connected league's player pool.

See how projected minutes are distributed.

What can I explore and control?

Check who actually played

NBA Rotations brings depth-chart and playing-time views together. Recorded game data and published rotation forecasts are distinct, so an expected role is not presented as an observed result.

  • Inspect team rotations and available recorded minutes.
  • Compare the recorded period with the published outlook.
  • Keep historical team context separate from today's roster.

Follow the change beyond the headline

NBA Updates combines injury and roster news with sourced fantasy-impact context where supported. A departure can affect both the old team and the new one; a replacement's own availability still matters.

  • Follow injuries, return information and roster movements.
  • Check which teammates may gain or lose opportunity.
  • Treat uncertain returns and unclear roles as uncertainty, not guaranteed minutes.

Find candidates, then check the fit

Breakout Watch helps connected-league managers investigate candidates in their player pool. Pair that shortlist with rotation evidence, category needs and the schedule before deciding who deserves a roster spot.

  • Separate a short-term opening from a possible sustained role.
  • Check category fit rather than chasing every news-driven pickup.
  • Use matchup and season analysis to explore different time horizons.
Does every news update immediately change the projections?

ROS projections refresh daily during the season as new game results become available. Daily news monitoring, live availability and reviewed changes to projected roles are separate parts of the process. A new injury status does not mean every teammate's forecast has been rebuilt. The preseason reference stays fixed once the season starts.
